What StockingLab does
StockingLab helps aquarists test a proposed community before buying livestock. The planner looks beyond tank volume alone and considers adult size, relative waste, filtration, tank footprint, surface area, water parameter overlap, social-group needs, swim zones and known behavioural conflicts.
Results are designed to explain the reason for a warning rather than hide it behind a single score. The planner is a decision-support tool and not a guarantee of compatibility or animal welfare.
Editorial approach
Species information and compatibility rules are treated conservatively. Where the available information is less certain, the site should say so. Extended records are not allowed to drive automatic stocking recommendations until they have passed a more detailed review.
